Privacy notice

Last updated 22 October 2026. This notice covers this website. Each app we build has its own privacy policy, linked from its store listing.

Who we are

Wayuu Automations Ltd is the controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in Scotland, company number SC901177, registered office 32 Boreland Crescent, Kirkcaldy, Scotland, KY1 2EZ. Contact: wayuu.automationsltd@outlook.com.

ICO registration number: ZB952328.

What we collect

  • Emails and enquiry forms. If you email us or use the enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, business name if you give it, and whatever you write. The form is handled by our own small program running on Google Firebase (Cloud Functions, London region, europe-west2), which emails your enquiry to our Microsoft Outlook mailbox. It is not stored in a database.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting (Google Firebase Hosting) and network provider (Cloudflare) process your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal: taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
  • To run and protect the website: our legitimate interest in a secure, working site.

Who we share it with

We use Microsoft (Outlook, where enquiries arrive), Google (Firebase Hosting and Cloud Functions, which run this website and the enquiry form) and Cloudflare (our network provider). If we switch on WhatsApp alerts, a short notice that a new enquiry has arrived (with your name and business, not your message) is sent through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. They act as our processors. We don’t sell your data or share it for marketing.

International transfers

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for no longer than we need them to deal with your enquiry, unless you become a client, in which case records are kept as long as the law requires. Provider log retention is set by those providers.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy. Email us and we’ll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
